Customizing your Windows Mobile phone is fun with tons of applications available. You can also create your own application for Windows mobile, but the only problem is to compile them into a .CAB (cabinet) file which is easily extracted in Windows mobile. QuickCab 2.0 is a very useful tool which can create a .CAB file from your files. QuickCab 2.0 is a Cab Creation Utility created by XDA Developers.

QuickCab does not require any installation and all you need is to extract the zip file and run the  QuickCab.exe file. You need to select the files and also select the location on the mobile device where it is going to be extracted while installation.

Next step is the set up the registry settings.

Finally you need to give the details of the file like author, name etc.

This application doesn’t support every possible scenario, but if what you want to do is copy files or change the registry, it works quite well. This is perfect for Themes, Ringtones, Tweaks, and Mods. Requires the .Net Framework 3.5 which can be found here.
